Free agent shooting guard Eric Gordon has lined up visits with the Phoenix Suns, Indiana Pacers, Houston Rockets, Portland Trailblazers, Charlotte Bobcats (?!!!) and the Dallas Mavericks.
What’s curious is the large number of visits that Gordon has planned, considering that the New Orleans Hornets, flush with salary cap space, have said they will match any offer for the restricted free agent guard, including a max contract offer.
While a return to Indiana (where he went to college) would seem like a perfect match, New Orleans isn’t exactly a terrible situation either, with a strong front office, potential franchise player Anthony Davis, and one of the best young coaches in the game in Monty Williams.
