The Cairns Taipans will tonight announce the signing of Aussie young gun Clinton Steindl.
Steindl, a Mackay product via St Mary’s college in America, will join fellow youngster Cam Gliddon in a team that is quickly becoming one of the favourites for next seasons NBL title.
Aussie Boomer Matthew Dellavedova’s right hand man in the NCAA last season, Steindl posted respectable numbers of 8ppg 3rpg shooting .361 from three point range.
Standing 6’7, Steindl joins a Taipans outfit that is gradually building a nice mix of size, speed, athleticism as well as youth and experience.
